“Hang Moon” cereals and freeze-dried local products

Struggling to find output for agricultural products in the Hiep Duc midland region, Ms. Nguyen Thi Le Hang (Que Tho commune, Hiep Duc) found her own direction and boldly invested in processing. Thanks to the combination of available ingredients with some folk medicinal herbs, many nutritious cereal powder products, heat-clearing tea, freeze-dried products … were born, gradually conquering consumers.

Currently, Ms. Hang’s facility has launched many different products such as pure lotus powder, upland brown rice powder – black sesame, black bean powder, red beans, herbal tea…

In particular, the special nutritious cereal product “Hang Moon” has been recognized by the People’s Committee of Quang Nam province to meet the 3-star OCOP standard in 2020. If in 2018, the output supplied to the market per month is only modestly about approx. 100kg, now it is 2-3 times.

With the initial successes, Ms. Hang hopes that the products branded “Hang Moon” will continue to spread and be more accepted by customers.
